When I made this project, I was inspired by Ukrainian culture, so the design has a lot of ethnic elements.
I also was inspired by hutsul legends, so added to this character some special abilities. As a guardian of the Windy valley, he can transform from old man to earth elemental to protect this place.

The character's other skill, as well as his hobby, is pottery, vine weaving and bakery. Some of the character's props and details are shown below.
I had a lot of fun working on this character and was testing my new pencil brushes. I really like the textures in this project and I hope to explore more in the next one.
